Terms of Service

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and eVahi ("we", "us") for the eVahi-US accounting service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you accept on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind it.

1. The Service

The Service is hosted software for keeping accounting records for one or more companies, with reports, reconciliation and access controls. We may improve, change or retire features, and will tell you in advance of any change that materially reduces what you have paid for.

2. Accounts and security

3. Subscriptions and payment

4. Your data

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to access other customers' data, to probe or disrupt the Service, or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend access that puts the Service or other customers at risk.

6. Not professional advice

The Service is a tool. It does not give accounting, tax or legal advice, and its reports and checklists do not replace professional judgement. You remain responsible for your books, filings, and the decisions you make from them.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and to back up Your Data, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is done at quiet times where possible.

8. Disclaimer and limit of liability

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by cancelling. We may end the agreement or suspend your account if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within a reasonable time after we notify you, or immediately for serious misuse. Sections that by their nature should continue (including data, liability and governing law) survive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we will notify the account owner by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
